The Brewrats Ep. 436 Summary 10/14/2009 Sumbungan Wednesday

Finally, the 3 rats opened the show with that distinct audiobed that they used during the show way back in their former radio station. Tado started with his story on that traffic jam from ABS-CBN to U92 office as he also shared his recent ANC guesting. They opened the Sumbungan Wednesday early with Angel’s sumbong on their neighbor having an early videoke time at 7 am. Tado shared another story when he had a jeepney ride in U.P. Diliman way back in his Mowelfund days. A man under the influence of alcohol just paid the jeepney fare of all the passengers. He also explained the different levels of “Taong Grasa”, difference of an urban and a rural “Taong Grasa” and as well in TV and movies. Ramon shared his first-hand experience in the Feast of Black Nazarene which he really had a touch of the black saint. They had some discussions of Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo characters as well as its story. They got some parts of the story from the net and scharaome from the YM messages. They even dared the brewsters that will come in the U92 booth in Sisa or Taong Grasa costume will win those EK tickets. In some part of that discussion, they had a topic on typical fiesta games which Angel claimed that she didn’t have a chance to play “Agawan ng Biik” but Tado do. They shifted from another barrage of discussions on biblical characters Samson and Delilah and Bernardo Carpio. Because of that, Tado suggested that he wanted a radio drama featuring those characters with a twist. They had a closing topic on some fairy tale characters. After that, they just realized that they didn’t accept the phone calls for that episode.
