The Brewrats Ep. 435 Summary 10/13/2009 Bring-a-friend Tuesday

It was a “true” Bring-a-friend” Tuesday for the show as they had Dante of Oxfam and former cast members from the teleserye Tayong Dalawa Ping Medina and Alessandra da Rossi representing Barangay Soup Kitchen (which I heard at the start of the 2nd hour) as they talked about flood in general, the causes and how to prevent it as well as the worsening problem of climate change. Ping also shared his story on how Brgy. Soup Kitchen started and what’s next for this project. At the last hour, the seriousness toned down with some labo-labo questions coming in for both Alex and Ping. I also called that night esp. I asked Ping to have a seminar of his own version of Arroz Caldo, the rice porridge behind the project that I’ve mentioned. At around 9:30pm, Alex and Ping have to say ba-bye as well as Tado coz of his live ANC guesting with DJ Mo Twister. Angel and Ramon took care of the last few minutes of the show with some random discussions.
